At Cloth Joy, we’re all about creating adorable, top-quality products that actually do their job (because let’s face it—babies don’t mess around). We’re also big fans of happy customers, so we’re always looking for ways to make your experience even better.

A Friendly Note Before You Order:

We’re a small, family-run business—just a husband, a wife, and our bustling crew of six amazing kiddos. We pour our hearts into every order (often with a baby on one hip and coffee in hand), and while we strive to ship quickly, life can be a little unpredictable around here. Orders typically ship within 3 to 5 business days, but during busier times, it may take up to 10 business days. Weekends and holidays are our family time, so those aren’t included in our shipping estimates.

Before placing your order, please take a moment to read each product description carefully—we’ve included as much detail as possible to help you make the best choice. Be sure to check out our sizing guide at the bottom of the page, too! Our cloth diapers are designed with their own unique fit, and they often run larger than other brands. That means if you order your usual size from another company, it might be too roomy in our fit.

Where do your items ship from?
All of our goodies are packed and shipped with care from our cozy little workspace in
Northern California—where the mountains are pretty, the kids are noisy, and every package is sent off with a smile!


 

How long does it typically take for an order to ship?
We ship Monday through Friday, with our last pickup at 2 PM sharp (that’s when we wave goodbye to your happy mail!). During busy times like holidays, restocks, or new launches, things can get a little wild around here, but most orders are out the door within
10 business days or less—often much sooner!

Thanks for your patience while we work hard (and occasionally juggle diapers and snack requests) to get your order to you as quickly as possible.



Do you offer free shipping?
We sure do! All
U.S. orders over $150 (before tax and shipping) ship for free—yay for happy mail without the extra cost!

Quick tip: If your cart shows $150 but shipping fees still apply, it’s likely because the total includes shipping or tax. Free shipping kicks in once your item subtotal hits $150. So stock up, and let the freebies roll! 🎉


 

Do you ship internationally?
We sure do—spreading fluffy joy across the globe! 🌍 Wherever you are, we’re happy to ship our products your way.


 

Do you combine orders?
We totally get the appeal—but at this time, we’re
not able to combine orders. With the high volume we receive and our speedy packing process, things move fast behind the scenes (sometimes too fast to catch!).

We’ve tried combining in the past, but it often led to mix-ups, extra shipping costs on our end, and a lot of logistical juggling. To keep everything running smoothly and fairly, each order will ship separately—thanks so much for understanding!


 

Can I make changes to my order?
Maybe! If your order hasn’t shipped and isn’t already in our workflow (which can happen fast—sometimes just minutes after placing it), we’ll do our best to help. If you ordered the wrong size or selected the wrong elastics, reach out ASAP and we’ll see what we can do!

Please note: Any refunds due to order changes will be issued as store credit only. Thanks for your understanding—we're always here to help keep your order just right!


Can I cancel my order?

We get it—sometimes plans change! If you need to cancel an order, you have a 6-hour window from the time of purchase to do so. Because we’re charged non-refundable fees when an order is placed, there is a $3 or 15% cancellation fee (whichever is greater) to help cover those costs.

Heads up for pre-orders: Once production begins, we can’t cancel pre-orders—they’re made just for you! If you reach out before production starts, we might be able to cancel, but the same cancellation fee will apply.


What happens if I entered the wrong shipping address?

Oops! It happens. We ship to the address you provide—so please double-check before placing your order. If the package gets returned to us, we’re happy to re-ship it, but you'll need to cover the shipping cost. Unfortunately, we can’t take responsibility for packages lost due to incorrect addresses.


Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Yes! We accept returns within 14 days of delivery—but only for items that are unwashed and unused. If your return arrives in used or washed condition, we won’t be able to process a refund. You'll have 30 days to pay return shipping if you’d like it sent back to you—otherwise, we’ll donate the item to a cloth diaper charity.

Most returns will be processed as store credit or exchange. If you'd like to begin a return, email us at hello@clothjoy.net to check if your item qualifies and to request a return form. Please note: exchanges will require you to cover shipping both ways.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, plus PayPal, Amazon Pay, Afterpay, Sezzle, and Shop Pay.
If you’re paying with an eCheck via PayPal, your order will be processed once the payment clears.


Can I use more than one coupon code?

As fun as that sounds, our system only allows one coupon per order. Coupon codes must be entered at checkout—we’re unable to apply them after the order has been placed or make price adjustments retroactively.


What about freebies?

Everyone loves a surprise, right? Freebies are automatically added to your order when available and can't be swapped or selected. If you’d prefer not to receive a freebie, leave us a note at checkout and we’ll do our best to honor that. If we run out of a specific freebie, we’ll substitute it with something of equal or greater value.


What happens if an item oversells?

Sometimes our system hiccups and oversells an item—oops!

  • For regular-priced items, if we don’t hear back from you within 10 business days, we’ll issue a refund.

  • For sale items, we’ll issue a store credit if we don’t get a reply within 10 business days.
    If you reach out within 30 days of that credit, we’re happy to honor the sale price toward a different item of equal or lesser value.


Do you offer price adjustments?

If something you purchased goes on sale within 3 days of your order, you can request a price adjustment—we’ll send you a gift card for the difference. We don’t offer refunds for price drops, but this is our way of saying thank you for shopping with us!


 

Angel Policy

At Cloth Joy, we understand that life can bring unexpected and heartbreaking moments. We believe that no parent should have to worry about a return policy in the midst of grief. We also understand that during this time, these items may be hard to look at and so we have crated this policy from the view point of someone who has faced this twice myself.


Our Angel Policy allows families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a baby to return any unwashed and unused items for a full refund, no questions asked. Simply reach out to our customer care team when you’re ready, and we will handle the process with compassion and care.


Returned items will be donated in your child’s honor to families in need or a charitable organization. Please let us know how we can best support you during this time.
