Hi! We’re Nicki and Melvin—the husband-and-wife duo behind Cloth Joy, and we’re so glad you’re here.
Cloth Joy is a true family operation, born from our own cloth diapering journey as parents of six. We started out looking for diapers that actually worked—ones that were soft, reliable, sustainable, and just plain cute. When we couldn’t find exactly what we needed, we began designing them ourselves.
What began as a personal project quickly grew into something much bigger: a mission to make cloth diapering joyful, accessible, and functional for families everywhere.
Melvin is the behind-the-scenes hero of Cloth Joy—he packs every single order with care, handles all the heavy lifting (literally!), and plays a big role in product development. Whether he’s brainstorming with me about better diaper features, making sure inventory is ready to go, or keeping things organized while wrangling our little ones, he helps make the magic happen every single day.
I (Nicki) handle most of the designing, customer care, content creation, and community support—but we truly run every part of this business together, as a family. From answering your messages to testing products on our own kids, everything we offer has been created and curated with love, experience, and intention.
Cloth Joy isn’t just about diapers—it’s about supporting families, making sustainable choices doable, and finding joy in the everyday moments (yes, even diaper changes!).
