Customer Raves — Cotton Candy Inserts

First launched in 2022, the cotton candy inserts have become an iconic staple of the Sustainable Sprinkles product line. Even when I entered the cloth diaper game in late 2022, I saw those inserts EVERYWHERE in cloth diaper groups on Facebook — and, objectively, for good reason.

Pretty in pastel pink and blue and edged in bright purple, the cotton candy inserts are eye-catching in both design and material:

• 6 layers total (2 bamboo velour, 4 bamboo cotton).
• Preshrunk to minimize shrinking and edge curling.
• Dyed using natural dyes (fabric reactive dyed).
• 5.4 x 14 inches.
• 2,000 GSM (280/bamboo velour layer, 360/bamboo cotton layer).
• Luxurious, snuggly texture due to the velour.

Those 6 layers sound awesome! Cotton and bamboo are powerhouses when it comes to inserts. Bamboo absorbs liquid a tad slower than cotton does, but they work together to offer amazing absorbency and fewer leaks. Sounds perfect for every day inserts, if you ask me.

The cotton candy line available on the website presently has a few different iterations.

• Wipes: Super soft for a luxe diaper change experience.
• Classic: The regular rectangle, ready to put in the WORK to keep your kiddo dry.
• Contour: Extra comfortable for chunky thighs and a good fit.
• Newborn Contour: A more gentle fit on a brand new butt.
• Trifold: For those who need EXTRA absorbency (9 layers & 2,760 GSM when folded)

Now while I have not tried any of the cotton candy inserts myself, I still wanted to give you honest feedback from people who have. We can go over product info all day but customer reviews are the proof in the pudding, so to speak.
